The Sharks are looking for volunteer managers and level 1 trainers to fill positions and to assist in the upcoming Winter Academy.
The Winter Academy, which begins with selection trials on May 15, runs for eight weeks, with the training sessions conducted once a week.
The teams representing the various Academy age groups in under 14’s, 15’s and 17’s, will also participate in trials games which have yet to be finalised.
Anybody interested in volunteering and applying for positions are encouraged to email [email protected] or [email protected]. For more information they can also call Bryce Gentle or Glenn Brailey on 9527 8294.
Any qualified coaches looking to become involved with Sharks Academy or the junior development program, are also encouraged to contact the club via the email address or contact numbers above.
The Sharks Winter Academy is for young local players and offers elite coaching and development opportunities for those selected through trials and/or identified by the Sharks scouting network.
This year while senior coaches and Sharks Development personnel are in regular attendance at local junior league fixtures, trials will also be held in assisting with the selection of Academy squads in the various age groups.
Applications for players looking to trial close this Friday, May 10, with a start date for the Winter Academy to be communicated to those who are successful in being selected.
