For the third consecutive week Sharks fans have voted Chad Townsend as the Sharks.com.au Fan Poll Man of the Match.
Although we’ve only been able to grab ourselves one win from our last three matches, Chad Townsend has been a consistent performer, leading from the front with grit and determination.
Once again against the Roosters in round five, Townsend provided direction in attack and put in another rock-solid defensive performance.
Unsurprisingly, Sharks hooker Jayden Brailey came in in second place after a mammoth defensive effort in his 50th NRL match.
Brailey made a game-high 62 tackles, even more impressively, only missing one all night.
To round out the top three Sharks fans voted in Briton Nikora, who after taking out the top gong in round one, has gone on to never drop below fourth in the voting across the next four games.
