For the second week running Sharks' halfback Chad Townsend has been voted as the Sharks.com.au Fan Poll Man of the Match.
With halves partner Shaun Johnson ruled out with less than an hour to go until kick off, Townsend stepped up to the plate with a polished performance in Round 4.
Showing plenty of determination, Chad continued to press for the entire 80 minutes.
Although the result didn't go the way of the Sharks, Chad once again showed fans why he has been the go to number 7 for the last few years.
He controlled things though the middle and went to the air with bombs that the Eels defence could only just contain.
At one point Ferguson failed to handle a Townsend grubber and Feki was on the spot to ground the ball.
Taking out the fan voted Man of the Match for the second week in a row has propelled Townsend into top spot for the Sharks.com.au Fans' Player of the Year, alongside boom rookie Briton Nikora.
Second place this week was taken out by hooker Jayden Brailey, who edged out the debutant Bronson Xerri by just 1% of the votes.
Both Brailey and Xerri showed sparks of brilliance in the beaten side, and will look to continue with much of the same in Round 5 against the Roosters.
