Five Sharks contracted players in Aaron Gray, Blayke Brailey, Kyle Flanagan, Kurt Dillon and Scott Sorensen have been chosen in the Intrust Super Premiership NSW Residents team.
The five, who have played the majority of the season with the Newtown Jets in the NSWRL ISP competition, will take on Queensland Residents in the curtain-raiser to Origin game 2 on Sunday.
Of the five selected, Sorensen, Gray and Dillon have all played for the Sharks in the NRL, this season, while Flanagan and Brailey, both who are still eligible for the under-20's Jersey Flegg in 2018, are playing their first season of senior level rugby league.
Chosen from the best performers in the 2018 Intrust Super Premiership NSW , the representation in the NSW Residents from the Jets/Sharks is the most of any club.
The team will be coached by North Sydney Bears Intrust Super Premiership coach Shane Millard.
NSWRL.com.au will live stream the fixture, which will kick off at 4.10pm AEST at ANZ Stadium, prior to State of Origin Game Two.
