It began on January 24 and will run through until March 15, with babies born at Sutherland and Kareena Hospitals over the 50-day period not only to be welcomed into the world but also into the Sharks ‘family’.
Every day for 50 days one baby born at both Sutherland and Kareena Hospitals will be presented with complimentary Sharks Baby Memberships, adding up to 100 new Sharks members over the length of the campaign.
Every other baby born in that time frame will also receive a certificate with an offer to redeem a Sharks Baby Membership at 20 per cent off normal rate.
On average, some 1,200 babies are born at Sutherland Hospital alone every year.
The Sharks Baby Membership, valued at $50, includes a scarf, plush football and personalised door sign.
Following on from the 50-day Baby Membership promotion, the Sharks Baby Memberships will be offered at both hospitals until June 30 or when the offer is exhausted.
The Sharks are partnering with Sutherland and Kareena Hospitals, with hospital staff to assist with the initiative.
Each complimentary membership certificate given to the new born babies will have a unique code that is redeemable through contacting the Sharks membership team.
