Backing up a 60-point thrashing and maintaining the intensity can sometimes prove to be a difficult assignment however the NYC Sharks continued their impressive form with another comprehensive victory at their last start, this time over the St George Illawarra Dragons.

The Sharks dominated their opponents for the second week in succession, beating the Dragons 38-4 in the derby match last Saturday and with two wins from their three starts are nicely positioned coming into their round three match with the Parramatta Eels.

Understandably coach John Morris has retained the team that has done the job for him over the past fortnight, with the notable exception of Jesse Ramien, with the hard running centre named to turn out for the Newtown Jets this weekend.

This week the Sharks play an Eels team who got their season up and running with a win over the Gold Coast, following on from two losses to begin their season.

The Sharks v Eels Holden Cup match is scheduled for a 4.45pm kick off at ANZ Stadium on Saturday.
