The Cronulla Sharks have named the first team for the upcoming Cronulla Sharks Women's Series match against the Canberra Raiders.
In the first match of the Cronulla Sharks Women's Series, the Sharks will run out a side suffering from injuries to a number of key players.
Missing will be Jillaroos players Ruan Sims and Allana Ferguson, who take with them a wealth of experience.
The injury to Ferguson's gives Sharks Women's u18 captain Taylor Preston the chance to play in the top grade, a reward for solid form in the lower age group.
Jillaroo halfback Maddison Studdon will captain the side in Sims' absence.
The match will be played in Nines format, with 12 minutes being played in each half.
