The popular and extremely successful Sharks School Holiday clinic returns these School holidays.
To be held on Tuesday, 27th September 2016 at Captain Cook Playing Fields, our clinics include plenty of footy fun to keep the most energetic youngster occupied.
JUNIOR JAWS | (4yo-9yo) 12pm-3pm Tuesday, 27th September 2016 at Captain Cook Playing Fields
The Junior Jaws clinic will be open to those aged 4 to 9, and will again focus on the fundamentals of the sport of Rugby League in a manner that will encourage young players to get involved in the fun of the game.
As well as a morning filled with footy and fun, participants will receive a Junior Jaws t-shirt, as well as being provided fresh fruit and water courtesy of Kareela Fresh Fruit.
SUPER JAWS | (10yo-14yo) 9am-12pm Wednesday, 28th & Thursday 29th September 2016 at Captain Cook Playing Fields
Super Jaws is an advanced clinic for boys and girls aged 10 years and over that wish to take their Rugby League skills to the next level. The program is ideal for players of Tackle, Touch & Tag and the focus is on plenty of 1-on-1 coaching and small groups with our professional coaches. Following on from winter season footy, SuperJaws provides the perfect platform for skill development.
The program is designed and delivered by Jason Stanton who is the Head of Womens Rugby League & Touch football at Sharks. Stanton, a world cup winning Coach and Player is joined by former Sharks player Daniel Holdsworth, who has played over 180 NRL & Superleague Games. Also attending will be Australian Jillaroo representatives. The experience and knowledge the coaching team brings ensure the program is second to none.
As well as a morning filled with footy and fun, the participants will receive a Super Jaws t-shirt, as well as being provided fresh fruit and water courtesy of Kareela Fresh Fruit.
MINI MERMAIDS | 11.30am- 12.30pm (3yo-6yo) & 1pm -3pm (7yo-12yo, 12+yo) Tuesday, 27th September 2016, Summer Time Bar, Sharkies Leagues Club
The Mini Mermaids cheer clinics will also make a return over the school holiday period.
Those aged 3 to 6 will be treated to 60 minutes of dance, including games and a short routine followed by a signing and photo session with the Mermaids.
The girls in the 7 to 12 group will enjoy a two-hour dance clinic with members of the Mermaids crew.
Each Mini Mermaid will receive a t-shirt and pom poms for participating in the dance clinic, as well as being provided fresh fruit and water courtesy of Kareela Fresh Fruit.
