Little did Sharks fan Ben Mailata know, a weekend spent at the Auckland Nines in 2015 would very quickly see the Kiwi at the face of the Club's membership push.
The long-time supporter - who credits the likes of Peachey, Ettingshausen and Rogers as the reasons for now donning the Black, White & Blue - said his rapid rise to 'fame' is something he holds proudly.
"It's awesome," he said. "Obviously I've been a Sharks fan for a long time, just to see the love that I have for the Sharks, used for (the Club), it's awesome."
Sharks TV spoke with Mailata when in Auckland for the 2016 Nines tournament, with his 'Sharks Story' now playing.
