The Cronulla Sharks have been recognised by the Australian Sports Foundation (ASF) in a spotlight feature focusing on the launch of the new Sharks Foundation, ‘Sharks Have Heart’.
With the intention of generating stronger community links and a lasting legacy within the Australian sporting landscape, the Sharks knew that the establishment of the Sharks Have Heart Foundation in partnership with the ASF was the vehicle for taking their social development work to the next level.
The ASF recently conducted an interview with Sharks Group GM – Strategy & Business Development Jonathan Prosser on the workings of the Sharks Have Heart Foundation.
He explains the Club’s belief that this important development will not only secure the Sharks long term financial future outside of football operations, but also further the reach of their benchmark programs which encompass community and social impact, education and welfare, the development of high-performance facilities, and being there to help when the Sharks family is most in need.
“The Sharks Have Heart Foundation is a very exciting project for us and our community,” said Prosser.
“We are working closely with our friends at the ASF and I am delighted that they chose to feature our work and track the progress along this journey.”
