The Newtown Jets will be looking to add to their three-game winning streak when they take on the North Sydney Bears on Sunday.
The Jets, the Sharks partner club in the VB NSW Cup, continued their good form last weekend with a 30-18 win over the Wentworthville Magpies in wet conditions at Henson Park, with the Bears game giving them an opportunity to climb further up the competition ladder.
The Jets will be strengthened by the inclusion of Todd Murphy, with the Sharks-contracted halfback forced to withdraw from the Magpies match on the morning of the game last Saturday.
Murphy trained strongly with the Sharks today and is expected to take his place in the Jets line up on Sunday.
The Newtown team to tackle the Bears has been announced, with the kick off scheduled for 3.00pm at North Sydney Oval.
