The Super & Junior Jaws training clinics are set to be bigger and better than ever in 2015 with this year’s event to be run over two days during the upcoming school holidays.
To be held at Remondis Stadium, the new Super Jaws program will be led by 300-game NRL player and current Sharks’ Elite Development Coach John Morris and will run both Monday, April 13 and Tuesday, April 14.
The program will focus on infusing the technical and tactical skills of the game in a highly structured developmental environment. Super Jaws is available for 9 to 12 year olds.
The ‘Junior Jaws’ program will see children aged four to ten participate in a one-day clinic on Tuesday, April 14, with the aim of Junior Jaws to develop the kids in a super fun environment.
The packages include the training program, as well as a general admission ticket to the Sharks’ home games against the Rabbitohs, Warriors and Roosters.
Every child involved in the program will also receive a Sharks t-shirt, while light snacks and refreshments will be provided across the days.
On top of that, the clinic will include a tour of Remondis Stadium while meeting and greeting Sharks NRL squad members.
Also upcoming for Sharks Mermaids of the future or for children (boys or girls) simply looking for an entertaining school holiday activity, the Mermaids Cheer Clinics could be just the type of fun they’ve been looking for.
Scheduled for Thursday, April 16, participants can learn some of the moves that have made the Sharks Oporto Mermaids famous in Australian sporting circles.
Organised by the Sharks and run by Mermaids Choreographer and Coordinator Jacquie Doran, the Mermaids clinics, run for two hours and include poms poms to use then take home afterwards, a Mermaids t-shirt and Sharks match day tickets.
