It may be summer, with an Indian cricket series just over, a cricket World Cup to follow and Asian Cup soccer dominating the headlines, however the NRL is still very much in the news with numerous articles appearing on line and in newspaper articles over the weekend.
In what will be a regular Monday feature, sharks.com.au provides links to some of the things written about the Sharks in the past few days.
The announcement of Luke Lewis attracted some attention, however the most covered Sharks player was certainly new recruit Ben Barba.
Barba conducted an interview with Matt Logue of the Sunday Telegraph, explaining his children and family is his priority and vowing to put his best foot forward for the Sharks in 2015.
In an NRL.com piece Jeff Robson explained how his combination with Barba might work during the coming season, while coach Shane Flanagan provided an insight into where Barba will play for his team this year.
His thoughts were covered by the Stuff.com.nz and News.com.au websites.
And in the Sunday Telegraph as an add-on to the Barba feature, Flanagan explained the family culture which is building at the Sharks amongst the current playing group.
