The Sharks new season ‘unofficially’ gets underway at the unlikely venue of Pittwater Park next year when the NRL and NYC squads take on the Manly Sea Eagles in their first trial matches for 2015 on Saturday, February 7.
A day hosted by the Sea Eagles, working in conjunction with Pittwater Council and with approval from the Warringah Rats Rugby Union club, the venue which features both grandstand and family hill seating, will provide great viewing and a fun-filled atmosphere for supporters of both clubs to enjoy.
While subject to change, the proposed kick off times are 5.30pm for the NRL trial and 3.30pm for the NYC match which will precede it. The Sharks will communicate any changes to the start times closer to the date if necessary.
Pittwater Park, located in North Narrabeen, has been chosen due to Brookvale Oval being unavailable on the day with the Central Coast Mariners to play an A-League fixture against Adelaide United at the ground.
Tickets for the clash with the Sea Eagles are on sale now with both Manly and Sharks 2015 members receiving significant discounts on match tickets. Members’ pre-sale tickets start from just $10 for adults and $5 for juniors.
Non-member prices are $20 for adults, $10 for juniors.
