While it would have been easy to be disappointing to give up a 22-0 lead, the NYC Sharks should still go into their match with Cowboys this weekend with a boost in confidence after holding the competition leading Knights to a 22-all draw last weekend.
Running with the aid of a stiff southerly the Sharks jumped out to a convincing lead, only to see the fortunes reversed in the second half.
However holding out a rampaging Knights team in the final 10 minutes of the match was a feather in the Sharks cap and should hold them in good stead for the Cowboys clash this weekend.
The Sharks have named a relatively unchanged line-up, with the return of Captain Anthony Moraitis after a week on the sidelines with a hamstring injury, the only significant alteration to their side.
After a solid performance against the Knights, one which included a clever first half try, halfback Alex Zarounas has retained his place in the team.
The NYC Sharks kick off their match with the Cowboys at 5.15pm, with gates to Remondis Stadium to open at 5.00pm.
