Valentine Holmes and Fa’amanu Brown, two of the stars at the recent Auckland 9’s are set to lead the way for the Sharks NYC Holden Cup team when they take on the Gold Coast Titans on Monday night.
Holmes at fullback and Brown in the number seven jersey will be keen to bring their good form back to their own age group in a bid to begin the Sharks under 20’s season on a winning note.
The Sharks have an experienced line up, with a number of players backing up from the 2013 NYC team, including Dallas Wells, Taylar Garrett, Alan Nuilesa, Ben Chahoud and front rower Kurt Dillon.
The NYC Sharks will be coached by David Howlett, who this week was promoted from the Sharks SG Ball to coach the under-20 side.
